Job Overview:


As a Systems Analyst specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, data integrity and ongoing support of this business management solution.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining the full lifecycle of the system, which includes ERP and CRM assets, while enhancing the functionality of systems to meet the organization's needs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

User Support**:

  • Serve as the "first point of contact" for user inquiries related to D365 Client Engagement and D365 Business Central platforms.
  • Address access requests, operational inquiries, and troubleshoot systemrelated problems.
  • Provide timely and effective user support, ensuring mínimal disruption to business processes.

Documentation and Training:


  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct user training sessions to ensure proper utilization of Business Central features.
  • Assist users in understanding system functionalities and best practices.

Data Management:


  • Collaborate with data administrators to manage data integrity within Business Central.
  • Assist in data migration efforts from legacy systems or other ERP platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security when reviewing primary and secondary data sources.
  • Identify areas of improvement to maintain and enhance data integrity.
  • Filter and "clean" data for use during integration and data audit projects.

System Enhancements:


  • Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and propose system enhancements.
  • Participate in system customization, configuration, and development efforts.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement changes and improvements.
  • Review and refine system generated outputs that meets organizational reporting requirements.

Security and Confidentiality:


  • Maintain user confidence by handling information confidentially.
  • Adhere to security protocols and access controls.
  • Support corporate data security activities, including business continuity planning, critical data access controls, licence management and user management.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Professional Qualifications, Experience and Skills:


  • Demonstrated success as a Data Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Dynamics platform (D365 Client Engagement and D365 Business Central platforms).
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, segmentation techniques and research.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Jet Reports, Power BI, Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, customer service, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, teamwork, written communication, group presentations, influence, results orientation, and strategic thinking.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related experience preferred.
