Description
The Parking Supervisor is responsible for managing site - located in Toronto at First Canadian Place.

He/She is responsible to ensure company policies and procedures are followed as per protocol and will manage a small team of employees at the location.

Hours are flexible but expected to be generally Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm but may including workings evenings and/or weekends when required


What will you be doing?

1.


Lot Responsibilities:

Point of contact for all customer inquiries and needs. Works closely with property management to ensure all key stakeholder needs are met in a professional and timely manner.

  • Initiation of work orders to deal with any necessary repairs, maintenance and/or improvements as needed.
  • Point of contact for contractors, building maintenance department, equipment suppliers.
  • Responsible for inspecting the parking facility on a regular basis to ensure it is safe, efficient and operating at or above company standards.

Equipment Maintenance and Security:


Responsible for ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and/or initiate proper requests for maintenance to ensure facility safety and revenue control.


3. Monthly/Bi-Monthly financial reconciliations for month end reporting. Cash handling and pay machine replenishments as required.

Staff Supervision:

Provide effective leadership and communicate the vision and goals of the organization.

  • Ensure frequent visits to each of the facilities to ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely, professional manner.
  • Scheduling and coordination of staffing for sites based on regular manpower requirements and event activity.
  • Staff training, coaching, mentoring and general staff management.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff are following correct policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that we provide the best in customer service standards and monitor the resolution of customer issues up to including escalating matters to senior management.
  • Monitoring of personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures, including but not limited to uniform and company policy standards.
  • Completion of payroll related to staff hours worked.
  • Staff disciplinary action, including issuing of verbal and written warnings. Subsequent monitoring and follow up action if required.

Monthly Parking:

Responsible for escalations of issues with regards to device activations, deactivations, replacements, cancellations, etc.

Incident Handling:

Tracking and managing of incident report/damage claims as well as corresponding with customers regarding safety and liability.


7. Conduct rate surveys, occupancy reports, stall counts, etc.


9. Special projects as requested by the Area Manager. Other duties may be assigned.


Competencies:


  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience with some experience being in a supervisor role.
  • College degree preferred. High school diploma minimum.
  • Experience in hospitality or service industry; previous experience within the parking industry is considered an asset.
  • Technical or mechanical skills are a definite asset.
  • Ability to successfully manage and train other employees.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and problems within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and prioritization skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills required, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Job Requirements

  • Clean driver's G license. Own Vehicle required, compensation for mileage provided
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
