MANAGER, ENVIRONMENTAL DUE DILIGENCE:


Responsibilities:


  • Design Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (in accordance with CSA Standards as well as Ontario Regulation 153/04), and soil/groundwater remediation programs.
  • Lead and mentor staff in the execution of Phase One and Two ESA projects.
  • Complete technical reviews of projects to ensure compliance with client objectives, regulatory requirements and technical standards (QA/QC assessment of data and reports).
  • Prepare work plans and cost estimates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reports.
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Contribute to the growth of the due diligence group.
  • Perform business development activities, manage projects and clients.

Qualifications:


  • University or College program in a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of environmental consulting, preferably in Ontario.
  • Superior communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and to proactively respond to timesensitive issues.
  • Experience with Brownfields/contaminated sites, remediation, environmental site assessment and transactional due diligence.
  • Understanding of hydrogeology, contaminant transport and geology.
  • Thorough understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
