Description

Reports to:


  • Program Manager or Designate

Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients living in their own homes with their activities of daily living including, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, eating, dressing, toileting and medication
  • Assist clients living in their own homes with meal preparation, laundry, making beds, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications:


  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or Developmental Service Worker Diploma or equivalent
  • First Aid/CPR C certificate
  • Experience providing personal care in a residential or home care setting
  • Clear and uptodate (within the past 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check conducted by the local police service
  • Driver's license, automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience working with disabled adults and/or senior citizens is an asset
Position is eligible for $3.00/hour Provincial PSW Wage Enhancement


Job Types:
