This is the job for you We are currently looking for a Scanning Clerk for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

    What is in it for you:

    Hourly salary of $16.49.
    6-month contract.
    Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
    Work schedule: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, office-based.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for opening, preparing, and sorting all incoming mail designated for digital imaging and subsequent processing.
    Analyze the content of documents to determine their respective Business area/work type (Individual Life, Wealth Management, Affinity, GSRS, Bank, and/or Group).
    Apply the appropriate tracking methodology for specific mail streams and processes.
    Perform document scanning duties on high-speed scanners.
    Monitor select workflow queues to troubleshoot imaging issues directed from Business Unit processing areas.
    Provide the necessary level of quality control.
    Deliver excellent quality customer service and act as a liaison between Office Services and Business Unit customers.

    Demonstrated experience handling high-volume tasks efficiently in deadline-driven environments.
    Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
    Ability to recognize a wide variety of documents accurately.
    Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills.
    Familiarity with AWD, CICS, Lotus Notes, IAS, Compass, and InfoDirect.
    Experience operating office equipment and capability to troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues.
    Knowledge of all Business Unit document types and forms recognition.
    Outstanding customer service abilities.
    Aptitude for handling confidential information securely.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) - preferred.
    Capable of lifting weights up to 20 pounds.
