Depuis le développement initial du concept, la conception détaillée, la construction, la mise en service et son exploitation.
- Démontrer un niveau élevé de sécurité personnelle et de sécurité dans les pratiques de conception.
- Diplômé en génie électrique
- Inscription au titre d'ingénieur professionnel au Québec. P.Eng d'autres provinces au Canada et aux États-Unis seraient un atout
- Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience en génie électrique au Canada ou aux États-Unis
- Une vaste expérience en ingénierie dans des environnements de conception, de conseil et d'exploitation, et une expérience antérieure dans le domaine de la transformation industrielle et/ou des mines et des métaux seraient un atout
- Capacité à gérer soi-même son temps, ses priorités et ses activités de manière sûre et efficace
- D'excellentes compétences en communication et en négociation
- Familiarité avec le code canadien de l'électricité
- Expérience avec les systèmes de transport et de distribution d'énergie MT et BT
- Familiarité avec les systèmes d'instrumentation et de contrôle dans les applications
- Familiarité avec les outils de bases de données, AutoCad et ETAP (de préférence)
- Capacité à interagir avec les clients, les parties prenantes, les entrepreneurs et les collègues
- Capable de communiquer efficacement avec le personnel technique et non technique
- Solides compétences organisationnelles et techniques avec le souci du détail
- Avoir une compréhension approfondie des codes, des réglementations en vigueur et des pratiques de l'industrie
- Compétences linguistiques : bilingue préféré

- You will be involved in the electrical engineering design of mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure. This could include industrial processing plants as well as precious metals plants as well as iron ore plants and associated services.

- You will be required to liaise with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders within the industry to ensure the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of projects.
- Working in a highly experienced team, and act as the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be exposed to a continuous succession of small and large, domestic and international projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations
- Demonstrate high standard of personal safety and safety in design practices.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Quebec. Other provinces in Canada and United States would be an asset
- Minimum of 8 years Canadian or U.S.A. Electrical Engineering experience
- Extensive engineering experience in design/consultancy/operational environments, and previous experience in industrial processing and or mining and metals experience an asset
- Ability to safely and effectively self-manage time, priorities and activities
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical code
- Experience with both MV and LV power transmission and distribution systems
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems in applications
- Familiarity with database tools, AutoCad and ETAP (preferred)
- Ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, contractors and co-workers
- Able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff
- Strong organizational skills, technical competence and attention to detail
- Have a thorough understanding of codes, governing regulations and industry practices
