- Build end-to-end solutions, implementing and designing both the GUI and the server-side designs with high efficiency and quality. One of the main contributors to technical decisions made to the design and development of our software.
- Be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle – requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment.
- Drives the Agile development practices, including sprint planning, demos and retrospectives, and ensures the team is adhering to best practices.
- Aids team in defining tasks related to user stories.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members, including code reviews.
- Deliver solutions that are highly usable, efficient, secure and scalable.
- Strive at all times to do work using best practices – through experience or experimentation.
- The salary range* for this full-time position is between $90,000 - $150,000

- You have either a diploma or a degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or related field and/or related progressiveexperience as a software developer.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in a progressive capacity.
- You have demonstrated experience leading Agile ceremonies
- The tech exposure. You have experience with most of the following technologies:
- Java EE
- Tomcat, Apache
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Bootstrap or other front-end frameworks such as , AngularJS, React and
- MSSQL Server
- Spring, Hibernate
- Tableau, SnapLogic, Crystal Reports
- RESTful API
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Exposure to or familiarity with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and AWX, as well as AWS services such as EC2, S3, Glacier, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, Route53 etc would also be beneficial.

What's the role?
As a Team Lead at Modern Campus, you will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and supporting an enterprise SaaS application platform as well as guiding members on your team who are doing the same. You strive to continually improve the quality, performance, and reliability of any code that you develop. You are analytical and have the ability to solve interesting and complex problems and implement innovative solutions. You will not only be utilizing your technical skills but also assist in translating business requirements into technical solutions by closely collaborating with Product Management.
We are looking for someone who communicates effectively and has a solid understanding of Agile development methodologies. They will have a proven track record in delivering projects on schedule. And, most importantly, they will thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
