Delivery/Yard Assistant to join our growing team in a seasonal (9 months out of the year), full-time capacity at our Osgoode location

The Role:_

The Delivery/Yard Assistant is responsible for local daily deliveries and pick-ups, loading and unloading deliveries and pick-ups, and assisting within the yard.

The Responsibilities:_

Responsible for local deliveries and pickups as required
Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries and pickups in a safe and efficient manner
Responsible for the proper use of company vehicles and equipment
Responsible for assisting with various outdoor yard duties as required
Responsible for the general maintenance of the warehouse and yard
Responsible for maintaining good administrative records and to expedite paperwork efficiently and on time

The Skills and Qualifications:_

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Valid Ontario Drivers License and a Clean Abstract
Must be a minimum of 25 years of age for insurance requirements
Experience with the safe operation of a forklift is considered an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to receive, stock, and deliver goods
Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with other employees as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
