Job Summary:
Doxa Development, headquartered in Richmond, BC, is a dynamic real estate development and construction company experiencing rapid growth. We are currently seeking a full-time receptionist/office admin staff member who is eager to evolve alongside our expanding company. This role serves as an excellent entry point into Doxa Development, offering abundant prospects for career advancement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
- Providing backup to other staff and departments, as necessary
- Maintaining necessary levels of kitchen/stationery supplies, daily running/emptying of the dishwasher, upkeep of general office appearance
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written in both English and Mandarin)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Have multitasking skills, and ability to handle a multiline telephone
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
