Your day to day activities will include:
Grain loading/unloading
Assist in loading/unloading of trucks/vessels/railcars and follow loading instructions and forms;
Assign commodities to storage locations in operating system; retain processing and shipping samples for customers.
General duties
Assist with maintenance and cleaning of facility;
Assist with general elevator operations;
Provide excellent customer service and abide by shipping schedule;
Identify and troubleshoot problems with equipment and machinery;
Previous experience in a general labour role, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
Grain handling and storage knowledge is an asset
Valid G driver's license
Basic computer operating skills, including Microsoft Office products
Strong customer service skills
Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to work extended hours
