    Description
    Job Position: Hotel Accountant (Full Time Position) for our Holiday Inn; working from our Head Office in Concord.

    Job Location: Vaughan, ON.

    We are seeking a full-time accounting candidate with superior Hotel experience.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable, monitor accounts and analyze operating expense. Coordinate and evaluate all reports on a monthly basis.
    • Ensure compliance to all procedures and review expense ledgers and assist in recovery reconciliations.
    Requirements:
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and other software pertaining to Hotel Management.
    • Minimum 5 years hotel accounting experience.
    • Strong communication, written and computer skills.
    • The ability to work as part of a team.
    • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
    • Sound business knowledge.
    • Accuracy and an eye for detail.
