***: The Houseperson reports the Housekeeping Supervisors and Manager.


The Houseperson is responsible for providing excellent guest service while cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, as well as providing assistance to guests as required.

The position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms in both the Sundial Hotel and Carleton lodge.
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and sweep floors in all common areas
  • Clean Elevators in Sundial and Carleton Lodge.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Empty and replace trash cans.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and helpful manner. Stock and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Checks linen closets and carts for cleanliness and supplies; advises the Housekeeping Manager of items needing to be replenished.
  • Handles and manages all laundry including folding laundry.
  • Transports laundry from floor levels to Laundry room when required.
  • Cleans the exit stairs, parking area, garbage area, and locker room in both Sundial Boutique Hotel and Carleton Lodge.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with housekeeping and maintenance duties when required.
  • Adheres to standards and completes tasks according to checklists.
  • Any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 3050 pounds.
