Responsible for ensuring a hospitable and professional atmosphere in the concierge area.

To serve all guests providing the highest level of service in an efficient and courteous manner while following Marriott standards, procedures and policies at all times.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:


  • Provide brilliant service to all guests using the Concierge Lounge.
  • Handle all guest requests and fulfill them as quickly as possible.
  • Be very knowledgeable about the hotel and its services.
  • Be very knowledgeable about local area, local events, attractions, sightseeing and cultural events.
  • Arrange all types of requests for all of the hotel's customers such as car rental, airline and train
- tickets, office services, beauty services etc. Arrange presents, repairs and shopping if requested.

  • Be trained in all guest relation functions and concierge lounge attendant functions.
  • Serving skills required for food provided in lounge.
  • Know about PMS. Help out during checkin and checkout of guests whenever needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accident prevention guidelines.
  • Ensure that logbooks, handovers and checklists are well maintained.
  • Recognize all repeat guests, VIPs. Be able to recognize them and know about their special requests.
  • Be knowledgeable about Marriott Rewards and Frequent Flyer Programs.
  • Have a thorough knowledge about SOPs and LSOPs.
  • Each Host is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the Host is capable of performing.
  • At all times strive to represent Marriott in the most professional and courteous manner.
  • Practice safety awareness. Maintain safety by adhering to safety policies, being responsible to report all accidents with Hosts immediately. Support all safety programs. Proceed with caution when walking on slippery floors and in congested areas. Ensure that proper safety instructions are given before operating any equipment.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as Host letters and guest comment cards.
  • Must be compliant with all Hotel Emergency Procedures.
  • Other reasonable duties as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience_

  • Previous guest services experience (Front Office/Concierge) in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred

Skills and Abilities_

  • Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English and French) required.
  • Superior service excellence skills to exceed guest expectations.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred

  • Previous Guestware experience a definite asset.
  • Must be available on Weekdays & weekends, Shifts are 4:30pm9:30pm & 6am 11am.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Proven team player.
