A little about the role:

Reporting to the Manager, Athletics and Recreation, the Head Coach is responsible for the recruitment of student athletes, team selection, training, and in-season planning/scheduling.

Working collaboratively within college departments, the head coach will support student athlete academic success & alumni relations, engage in community outreach programs, and lead the Rattlers Women's Hockey summer camps.

An integral part of this position includes active community engagement and public relations responsibilities.

As a successful applicant you will have:

Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Physical Education or a relevant discipline
3 years coaching experience in a postsecondary environment or provincial club level
NCCP Level III certification
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a high functioning, student athlete focused team
Strong passion and commitment to student athletics
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
