Today, our focus is on sustainably sourced meat and seafood and our in-house brands; Hills Legacy Meats, Essentials by Legends, Chateau Water, Woozas, and Spades [most of which we manufacture in our own facility].

We also distribute an incredible lineup of local, highly sought after brands; Hobbs Pickles, 33 Acres Waters, Kokoro Ramen, Culture Craft Kombucha, and many more.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse

Pick, package and organize orders accurately
Inspect products for defects and damages
Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
Check, verify and fill customer invoices
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
Keep warehouse clean and organised daily
Must be able to start at 67am

Production

Work at different stations as production requires
Inspect, weigh, and package meat products
Monitor flow of product into processing machinery
Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment
Report potential production downtime, scrap production, and quality of each machine
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand up to 4 hours in a cold environment as well as maintain a clean and safe work environment

Logistics

A good knowledge of driving in the Greater Vancouver area
Strong organizational skills for route planning and documentation tracking
Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
Must be exact in counting product items. Errors could cause customers to be billed for incorrect amounts.
Repeat the same physical activities, such as loading and unloading trucks.
Make decisions daily that strongly impact the reputation of their employers. They consult supervisors for some decisions but make most without talking to a supervisor.
Able to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out
A valid Class 5 licence is required for this department

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Physical Endurance: Capable of lifting up to 60lbs and standing for extended periods in a cold environment
Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to product quality, and adherence to safety standards
Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a fastpaced team environment, supporting other team members when needed

Adaptability: Flexibility to work in various roles within different departmets based on the company's needs.

Must be comfortable working inside freezer and cooler for a prolonged period of time:

Communication: Good verbal communication skills to convey any concerns or issues to supervisors effectively
Problem-

Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues related to packaging processes and machinery

Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability to meet targets and deadlines.
