You will be an integral member of the Gambling Awareness Program (GAP) team.Key responsibilities will include social media and digital engagement, website development, advertising, creative writing, print and resource development.
We are seeking someone with an engaging personality who is comfortable interfacing with the public to support the team during community-based events.
Must be adept at developing content for a variety of platforms, audiences and target groups.Skills:
- Creative and intuitive with the ability to think critically and independently when researching and mining content for the Program
- Experience with developing a social media strategy that includes creating live video content and using social media scheduling software such as Hootsuite
- Working knowledge of design software (Adobe Suite, Canva) for print and promotion needs
- Practical skills in web design, using Word Press
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and manage time effectively. You must be able to work independently within a team environment
- An interest in working in a nonprofit environment where a passion to help others drives your ambition. A positive attitude, fun spirit, and ability to connect and work with a range of people, including youth, and willingness to support other CMHA programs and staff
Two or more years of practical experience in Communications or Marketing is required, with a preference for a degree, diploma, or certificate in Communications.
Salary:
$23.55-$27.99 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
