We are looking for:


  • Individual accountability for site HSE, Quality, Productivity, and Manufacturing Excellence objectives
  • Ensure all aspects/standards of the Responsible Care Safety Program are met
  • Plan job packages for routine maintenance, maintaining HSE standards, shutdown repair work and improvement projects based on priorities of the department supervisor
  • Develop, communicate and maintain a workable weekly schedule according to work requirements provided by operations and maintenance resource availability
  • Work with production employees, engineers, maintenance employees, contractors and vendors to develop efficient job plans lining up resources, equipment and tools.
  • Actively engage in the area improvement teams to drive achievement of department objectives and continuous improvement initiatives and lead selected plan objectives

We count on you for:


  • Scope and develop plans for corrective maintenance work to ensure resources required, job duration as well as components/tools are available to efficiently execute work
  • Create resource balanced weekly schedules for corrective maintenance work based on Gatekeeper prioritization
  • Ensure accurate daily schedule is distributed to key stakeholders
  • Fulfill Planner/Scheduler responsibilities of the work order management process including weekly WO preparation, closure and rescheduling/follow up WO generation
  • Create job plans including task lists and required components/tools for routine or shutdown maintenance work
  • Participate in the development of the work process improvement objectives and area improvement team goals
  • Fill in for maintenance supervisor as required

You will bring:


  • Postsecondary education or Trade certification (Millwright, Pipefitter, E&I)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance planning role
  • Chemical plant experience is preferred
  • Experience with using and working with a CMMS, working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Excellent communication and skills and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated planning and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must have ability to lead and motivate teams

  • Must abide by safety, quality and all other site policies and procedures
