DIRECTOR - RISK MANAGEMENT

:

AtkinsRéalis is currently looking for a Director - Risk Management to join the corporate risk and project oversight team. Reporting to the Vice President, Risk Management, this position has global reach and plays a key role in operationalizing the company's risk management framework and enhancing risk management practice across the business.

:

Summary of Role

:

Review and drive improvement of project risk management processes and quality of implementation across the company

:

Participate in independent peer reviews of project performance and forecasts, advising on risk aspects

Mentor and advise internal clients on risk management approaches and advance effective risk management practice, working closely to support development and implementation of effective risk treatment strategies

Lead risk workshop facilitation and reviews with projects as well as at business and function levels

-
Support users and teams in risk analysis and optimal utilization of risk management technology.

Preferred Background

:

-
University degree in engineering or technical discipline

:

-
Relevant professional designation(s). MBA is an asset

:

-
10 years' experience in engineering and project roles

:

-
Proven experience in commercial or risk management

:

-
Full proficiency on industry-standard and specialized risk management software

:

-
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

:

-
Solid understanding of project management, cost estimating and scheduling principles

Fluent in English. French is an asset
