Reporting to the Shop Foreman, this position will be responsible for;

Role Details:

Assisting the Shop Foreman and the Production Manager in the efficient operation of the shop.
Advise manufacturing employees on proper technique, manufacturing processes and product quality.
Provide training to employees as needed or assigned.
Motivate team members to achieve organizational objectives.
Oversee, schedule and assist in Final Assembly, Conveyor Assembly and Mini Assembly areas.
Communicate with other Team Leaders to identify and solve production issues.
Performing Quality Control to ensure the finished product is up to the quality standards of the organization
Ensuring material availability and flow
Adaptable to working and assisting is other production areas as required.
Conducting yourself and acting in a professional and businessoriented manner at all times
Available for extended hours

Required Skills:

Strong Leadership Skills
Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
Safety Oriented
Familiar with working in an ERP environment such as Epicor
Experience with Microsoft Office an asset
Must be extremely organized
Must be able to multi task
Must be capable of reading and interpreting product and assembly drawings
Exceptional problem solver
Strong work ethic
Must be mechanically inclined
Must be able to learn and understand the various product lines and subassemblies in the production environment
Forklift and crane certification (or the ability to be certified)
Must possess: good verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate excellent attendance and the ability to work as a member of team.

Other information:

To start as soon as possible.
Permanent fulltime position.
Knowledge of farm equipment an asset.
Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday as production needs require
