The Microsoft Azure PreSales Specialist is responsible for creating, coordinating and executing the Microsoft customer acquisition strategy in our US SMB Unit.

This includes growing the Microsoft Azure platform through sales training and enablement, developing, and executing competitive sales tactics while staying current with market and product trends.

Successful execution will also require strong management of the local Microsoft partnership.


What you'll do:


  • Partner with internal and external resources to grow Microsoft Azure in SMB.
  • Drive growth within new Azure customers.
  • Drive growth within Azure consumed revenue.
  • Support the demand generation strategy and Azure sales activations campaigns.
  • Provide presales support to sales and customers on Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities.
  • Facilitate customer events to deliver Softchoice content.
  • Develop and deliver training for Softchoice sales teams on Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Ongoing personal development through certificates, training, and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Promote professional services and managed services to drive Azure growth.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A deep understanding of Microsoft Azure products and services.
  • 35 years of sales experience (with Microsoft products).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customerfacing presentation skills.
  • Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis.
  • The ability and experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level.
  • Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business objectives.
  • The desire to be competitive and refuse to lose
  • Bilingual English/French preferred.
