Responsibilities:


  • Work within a collaborative team environment to develop and create strategies to optimize West Fraser's Supply and Operations Planning (SNOP) Process to maximize margins for our operations.
  • Using data analytics, establish and report on metrics to measure and manage KPIs for our key customer consignment/vendormanaged programs.
  • Partner with the sales teams, analytics teams, and product management functions to ensure optimal service levels within each customer group.
  • Develop and continuously improve systems to monitor and optimize inventory levels and supply chains while managing key customer relationships.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business discipline is preferred.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional Designation Program preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 35 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, distribution and supply chain.
  • Experience with truck, rail, and/or ocean freight transportation.
  • Experience working within modern supply chainrelated ERP systems.
  • Full lifecycle B2B experience is an asset
  • An established track record of providing service growth, process transformation, and automation
- problem solver with a hands-on mindset

  • Experience in establishing metrics, measuring productivity, and driving success through business process optimization.
  • A detailoriented focused team player who will collaborate with other departments to complete projects
