We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Supply Planner to join our Inventory Management team in Langley, BC.

This position is expected to last 18-24 months.


Reporting to the Team Leads, Supply Planning, you will plan and maintain inventory levels at the DC and stores, execute allocations & distributions and collaborate with the other internal teams.

Coordinate orders with our supply partners and ensure inventory is flowing through the network at the right time.


You will be responsible for:

  • Working in BlueYonder Fulfillment to establish and maintain planning rules: lead time, safety stock, network, sourcing, planning/cycle time.
  • Developing replenishment plans based on established rules in BlueYonder Fulfillment.
  • Reviewing and resolving exceptions: stock out, stock low, and excess.
  • Partnering with Supply Chain Analysts to identify potential inventory obsolescence situations and work with Category Managers and Suppliers to execute plans to resolve issues.
  • Providing forward visibility into all vendor and supply requirements to prevent shortterm issues.
  • Communicating problems and possible solutions to the appropriate level.
  • Collaborating with Demand Planner on Event Management (special buys, displays etc.)
  • Partnering with DC to ensure DC capacity is considered when placing purchase orders.

You have:

  • Postsecondary education in inventory, distribution or logistics preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain planning and/or inventory control.
  • Transportation knowledge is an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with BlueYonder Fulfillment is an asset.
