GFL Environmental is looking for a full-time Waste Management Driver to help support our operations in Niagara Falls, ON.


Key Responsibilities:

Safely and effectively operate Company vehicles as per licensing qualifications and assigned duties
Operate Company vehicles and equipment as directed, as per GFL Environmental procedures, policies and according to all applicable legislation
Be available on weekends, after hours and holidays for both regularly scheduled work and emergent work
Participate in the Company on-call system as scheduled/required
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment as directed or required
Identify and effectively communicate any required vehicle maintenance, both preventative and repair
Assist in other Company departments as required (eg. labourer, maintenance, transportation department driving duties as per qualifications, etc)
Represent the Company in a responsible and professional manner while dealing with customers, supervisors, suppliers, regulatory bodies and fellow employees
Prepare and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
Comply with all company paperwork procedures and ensure all paperwork required for the position is concise and complete (bills of lading, manifest, log book, circle check, etc.)
Comply with all Company safety, environmental, administrative and general policies/procedures
Attend and complete necessary training as per Company requirements or objectives


Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:

Valid DZ License is an Asset.
G License is required
