SEEKING EXPERIENCED CONTENTS TECHNICIAN FOR OUR MISSISSAUGA BRANCHCompensation: $20-$24 per hour, Full-Time / Permanent
The Job – Experienced Cleaner / Packer in Building Restoration

At On Side, Cleaner Packers, also known as Contents Technicians show up every day with a can-do attitude and desire to help.

This team does vital work helping clients save precious possessions and memories with empathy, compassion, and hard work. When disaster strikes, Contents Technician teams are deployed to restore order out of chaos and clean up the aftermath. Working on site and in the On Side warehouse means no day or disaster is ever the same.
Experienced Contents Technicians are responsible for:
Cleaning dirty and damaged contents and structures
Cleaning soiled fabrics and textiles
Packing contents including personal belongings, business effects and furniture
Lifting, carrying, and moving belongings and furniture around the house/apartment/business and sometimes into a moving van
Packing and cataloging contents from disaster affected areas and creating inventory lists
Working with customers to restore personal and commercial items to pre-disaster state
Previous experience working in the building restoration industry as a Contents or Emergency/Flood Technician
Eagerness to work overtime
An optimistic outlook and a real desire to help

Past industry experience that can translate into success in this job: contents technician, water damage technician, emergency restoration technician.

Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
