STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST (Category Manager)
Richmond


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement and Supply Chain Services, as the Strategic Sourcing Specialist you provide supervision, leadership and guidance to a team of Purchasing Agents.

You lead cross-functional teams through the various stages of the procurement processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders on all aspects of the procurement cycle.


Responsibilities

  • Lead crossfunctional teams through the various stages of the procurement processes, collaborate with internal stakeholders on all aspects of the procurement cycle.
  • Assist & collaborate with internal stakeholders with various needs for the Supply Chain department, including special projects, process improvement initiatives, and any other related duties as assigned.
  • Conduct market research and gather information on potential suppliers and solutions that meet the sourcing requirements.
  • Develop and execute high complex sourcing strategies, including conducting RFx, and other procurement processes, to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts of $5 plus million of dollars with suppliers to ensure the best possible price, terms, and conditions BCF.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services and to address any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure that they are meeting the company's quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
  • Manage and negotiate highvalue contracts (i

e:
$5 plus millions of dollars in, cumulative value) through the life cycle, from creation, execution, through to termination.

  • Identify, assess risks throughout the endtoend procurement cycle, and provide risk management and/or mitigation strategies via engagement with stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement activities in compliance with applicable BCF policies.

Qualifications and Skills
You have experience in managing Supplier performance and sustainable procurement framework in alignment with corporate sustainable goals. Construction and/or IT procurement experience preferred.


You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with years experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement in a large organization.

A combination of education and experience will be considered.
