    Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Feed Sales Specialist on a temporary 12-month basis on our Feed team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Calgary, AB.

    What you'll do:

    • Achieve sales targets and generate sustainable sales growth of feed products (bulk & packaged), animal health supplies and farm hardware products through local Co-op retail accounts (B2B Sales Activities).
    • Empower local Co-op retails with the ability to sell bulk & packaged feed, animal health and farm hardware products to their member customers by offering product knowledge training, providing in-store and on-farm technical support.
    • Promote FCL feed manufacturing and nutritional services to large volume direct and third-party livestock consultant clients.
    • Strengthen the Co-op Feeds reputation as a trusted livestock feed manufacturer by fostering strong client relationships and generating brand awareness through targeted industry events.
    • Approximately 70% annual travel, with approximately 4-5 nights away per month.

    Who you'll work with :

    The Team: You will work closely with Feed Team Advisor, local Co-op staff, Producers, and will report into the Feed Sales Manager. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, team works and autonomy.

    Who you are:

    You are looking for a career in ​Sales & Marketing​ and:

    • Have 6-9 years of progressively responsible sales experience in the agriculture and/or animal health industry.
    • Have a commerce or agriculture degree, preference in animal science (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
    • Have a professional Agrologist designation is an asset.
