is seeking a Foundation Administrator to support the Raymond James Canada Foundation for a 20-month contract/temporary assignment based in Vancouver BC.

The Foundation Administrator is a dynamic role responsible for providing administrative and communications support to the Raymond James Canada Foundation.

Reporting to the Executive Director of RJCF, and supporting the Program Specialist, the Administrator will process and track incoming donations and outgoing grants, provide support for donors and event participants, and assist in the creation of news stories, presentations, and reports as needed.

This position is full-time for a period of 20 months starting in June 2023 working through to January 2025. The role operates out of the Raymond James Ltd. downtown Vancouver office, with a combination remote/in office workstyle as required in order to satisfy event needs.


To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

  • Track, process, and distribute outgoing grants and gift letters;
  • Maintain up to date tracking of credit card and cheque donations;
  • Schedule meetings and take and distribute detailed meeting minutes;
  • Act as a point of contact for donors and event participants;
  • Assist in the researching, drafting, and editing of various communication materials;
  • Provide support on social media content development and sharing;
  • Provide support for both virtual and in person employee engagement activities/events;
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Completion of at least the first year of college or university;
  • A background in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Human Resources is an asset;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience with Wordpress is an asset;
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills;
  • Superior problem solving skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Experience using social media platforms;
  • Experience with online donation processing software an asset;
  • Must have excellent initiative and ability to work autonomously;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; and
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information.
  • Friendly and professional manner; and
  • A strong interest in philanthropy and charitable giving.
