- Conduct daily mine survey tasks to ensure accurate reporting of production data, and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct quality control checks on underground mine workings, including tunnels, shafts, and other mining infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulations and efficient operations.
- Conduct weekly ventilation surveys to confirm underground airflows and provide weekly ventilation report to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct QA/QC on critical ventilation infrastructure
- A degree/diploma in Mine Technology or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an underground Mine Surveyor and or Ventilation Technician
- Experience with surveying and mapping software is an asset.
- Experience with ventilation software (E.g. Ventsim) is an asset.
- Experience with Deswik is an asset.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations, with experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety procedures.
- Possess Valid driver's license.
