    The Plant supervisor supervises day-to-day warehouse operations and workforce. . The Plant Supervisor oversees all daily operations of the Shred plant in the most cost-effective and customer-satisfying manner. This leader will coach a high-performance team and adhere to Iron Mountain regulations.

  • Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and assigns specific responsibilities to all operations personnel
  • Monitors and improves the productivity of the shred team through strong leadership, motivation and team building.
  • Monitors employee attendance, productivity and other performance markers
  • Builds internal and external relationships; fosters collaboration
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintains quality warehouse, through daily inspections and ensuring all company safety and audit performance requirements are met in the plant
  • Operates and maintains a computerized inventory scanning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, production , operations or other service-related environment
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude
  • Forklift experience, Bobcat Skid Steer, Scissor lift experience is a Plus
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of 5 people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to comply and execute the company safety and health regulations
  • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
