Upper James Toyota is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:


  • Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, stocking, and management of automotive parts and accessories to ensure optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency. Implement efficient inventory control practices and conduct regular audits.
  • Sales and

Customer Service:
Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers. Assist in identifying customer needs and recommend appropriate parts and accessories. Collaborate with the sales team to support their efforts in meeting customer demands.

  • Staff Supervision and Training: Lead a team of parts associates, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with automotive parts suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to secure the best deals and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Parts Department Efficiency: Develop and implement efficient processes to streamline the parts department's operations, ensuring that parts are readily available when needed and that special orders are managed effectively.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for the parts department budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing costsaving measures without compromising quality or service.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies within the parts department.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to increase parts sales and enhance customer loyalty.

You offer:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry. Toyota experience is a definite plus.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories. Toyota experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Valid Driver's License
