is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world.

We are currently looking for a Inventory Planning Manager to join our Purchasing team in our BC office.

Position Summary:

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week; 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

Stock Review on regional DC inventory
Stock Replenishment/ filled and unfilled rate
Supervising and monitor the execution of Inventory Management team
Set up team performance goals and KPI
Data Analysis vendor & product performances
Overstock control
Obsolete/ Damaged Stock Control
Inter branch stock transfer coordinator
Freight charge review and negotiation

Requirements / Must-Haves:

Postsecondary degree preferred or combined 5+ years of experience in inventory planning
Has experience of managing people and team
Has experience in international trade is a plus
Strong analytical skills to interpret data to analyze vendor performance
Strong personal and people management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to plan, balance and multitask job responsibilities based on business need
Ability to listen, take direction and learn quickly
Work under pressure to meet deadlines while producing high quality work
Fluent in English

Assets / Nice-to-Haves:

Chinese, Korean or Japanese is a plus
