We are currently looking to hire a
Service Writer to join our team of professionals in ensuring we continue to provide reliable service within our Shop.


Requirements:


  • Top notch service skills to a culturally diverse customer base.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a service writer in the heavy truck/commercial vehicle industry.
  • Dispute resolution skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Axon knowledge an asset
  • Safe and professional work practices are mandatory
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to work for long periods of time on your feet.

Responsibilities:


  • Greet and assist all customers that enter the service area.
  • Gather customer and vehicle information for service checkins.
  • Working with the service manager, provide estimates of the work to be performed and collecting authorization.
  • Review account status and collect payments as required.
  • Continuous consult with service manager and shop foreman on the status of the work to be performed and providing timely updates to the customer.
  • Ensuring all work orders are closed in a expeditious manner.
  • Obtain payments from customers for completed work.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service counter and workspace.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficient in using computer software for scheduling and record keeping

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
