Position Description:

Delivery of highquality clinical review and counseling, and support to people who are experiencing sleep problems, including those with coexisting mental health difficulties
Working in close quarters with our Medical Physicians, Administrators and Laboratory staff
Monitoring the side effects patients may experience from treatments
Clearly and objectively documenting client contacts, assessments, interventions, and treatment plans in the client's clinical file
Analyzing Sleep Study results
Providing the coordination of care for clients presenting with sleep and other related disorders
All documentation is completed concisely, accurately, and objectively, according to service policy and procedure
Participate in the performance review process

Skills & Qualifications:

Has a medical diploma, nursing diploma or RPSGT certificate. International Medical Graduates are an asset
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail
An assertive, professional, and friendly interpersonal skills with strong customer service values
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good time management skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
Experience in Sleep Disorders counseling preferred
Knowledge of: The Medicine Health Act 1991, Health Information Privacy Code, Regulated Health Professionals Act, International Classification of Sleep Disorders (ICDS) and CPSO Practice Parameters and Facility Standards
This role is typically one (1) to three (3) days per week. Monday to Wednesday, typically 9:00AM to 3:00PM EST. Can occasionally take place on Thursdays and Fridays.
