'''Duties''' - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine the layout and configuration of welding work - Set up and operate welding equipment and power tools such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders - Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions - Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut materials accurately - Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet quality standards - Use hand tools and machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and structures - Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute welding projects - Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment '''Requirements''' - Proven experience as a welder or similar role - Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting welding specifications - Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Knowledge of ductwork fabrication is a plus - Ability to operate a crane for lifting heavy materials is a plus - Experience with plasma cutting is preferred but not required - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
