Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Agent to join our team. As a Mortgage Agent, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their mortgage needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the financial services industry and help individuals achieve their homeownership dreams.


Responsibilities:

• Evaluate client financial information, credit history, and property details to determine eligibility for various mortgage products
• Collaborate with lenders, underwriters, and other professionals to ensure a smooth and timely mortgage approval process
• Educate clients on different mortgage options, terms, and conditions, helping them make informed decisions
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in mortgage products to provide the best possible service to clients

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Agent or in a similar role within the financial services industry is required
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending guidelines, and underwriting processes
• Excellent communication skills in English (multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus)
• Proficient in cash management and financial calculations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client files simultaneously
• Must have completed and passed ontario mortgage agent course*

Pay:
$80,983.00-$94,706.00 per year
