Panel Technician, mainly focusing on
Quality Control at our Saskatoon facility.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain QA/QC records
  • Ensure ALL panels meet requirements of CSA
  • Ensure ALL panels meet requirements of Delco QA/QC program
  • Understand and adhering to the Delco Automation Quality program
  • Technical resource for other manufacturing staff
  • Implementation of Delco manufacturing production procedures and updating when required
  • VFD Set up and parameter configuration including all nameplate data
  • Soft Start and FVNR/FVR testing
  • Panel voltage tests from 12VDC up to 600VAC
  • Application of hipot tester to cables as per CSA
  • Simulate all PLC I/O (Analog and Discrete signals)
  • Maintain / enforce drawing package checklists
  • Provide mentorship to junior level staff
  • Miscellaneous other tasks as directed by Manufacturing Manager
  • Provide quality feedback to engineering Dept.

Requirements:


  • Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Strong organizational, writing and planning skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and cause analysis skills
  • Knowledge, understanding and, commitment to the procedures laid out for quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of CEC and CSA requirements

Pay:
$22.00-$27.00 per year
