PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

OVERVIEW
At iCare Pharmacy, we are a dedicated group of pharmacy professionals passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers. We are searching for a passionate, experienced Pharmacy Technician or Assistant to join our fantastic team.


In this position, you'll work four days per week; however, if full-time is desired, we are open to additional hours.

Compensation for this position will be discussed during the interview and may be upwards of $25 per hour based on education and experience.

In addition, you'll have the option to enroll in a Health Spending Account. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and closed on the weekends. These hours allow you to have a career you love while also providing a healthy work-life balance. We are a small, local team that values every employee's unique contributions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently assist in technical functions of dispensing prescriptions and the delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service utilizing essential interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate efficiently with the customer and other team members.
  • Organize, manage, and send faxes to provide patients with the necessary refills and requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy at all times.
  • Complete deliveries occasionally, which may occur during or after your shift.
  • Receive and place orders for pharmacy inventory for medications, including prescription and overthecounter.
  • Accurately process payments inperson and over the phone and competently operate the cash register.
  • Answer phones and assist customers over the phone while multitasking to complete other responsibilities.
  • Contact insurance companies on the patient's behalf to facilitate the filling or refilling of prescriptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Prior experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or Assistant is required.
  • Familiarity with Kroll software, including how to fill, receive, and process new and refill prescriptions is required.
  • Extraordinary customer service skills with the ability to recognize when a patient requires counseling or advice from a pharmacist.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to multitask, collaborate with the team, and selfmotivate to accomplish required tasks and responsibilities.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solutionsbased mindset.
  • Preference will be given to those familiar with AADL regarding diapers for children and children with disabilities.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 32-40 per week


Salary:
$18.00-$26.00 per hour
