Financial Analyst also known internally as our Estimator.

This is a permanent full time hybrid position with time split between home and our Edmonton Head Office. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm flexible dependent on business needs.

What your day to day will look like:

Reporting directly into the CFO scoping appropriate bids for both recurring and new client RFP's.

Bid Pricing; Review all bid documents, create pricing strategy and bid pricing framework, investigate activity cost factors and critical success factors for accurate bidding, highlight bid methodology for Management review.

Bid Evaluation; conduct a post mortem bid evaluation, maintain all documentation in analytics database and monitor model trends for insights in bidding and current win/ loss margins.

Ad Hoc Pricing; Analyze and estimate pricing changes on existing locations and adhoc services.

Support Team; Assist Controller and others in the department as needed occasionally includes AR, AP and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed:

Must have minimum 35 years in an analysis/ financial modeling role
Advanced MS Excel skills specifically to create and edit complex formulas
Must have strong knowledge of general financial accounting and analysis framework
Post Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be an asset
Must have strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and the ability to problem solve
Tech savvy know your way around computers and be able to pick up new programs quickly
Ability to adapt communication style acting as main liaison between multiple departments both internal and external
This is a very autonomous role you will have team and company support but will work independently so must be able to self manage and have strong time management skills
