Aarc-West Mechanical Insulation, one of the leading mechanical insulation companies in BC, is looking for entry level insulation helpers for the Lower Mainland to join a trade in the booming construction industry.
You will be helping journeyman insulators while learning the trade on the job and attending apprenticeship courses to become a qualified journeyman.
We will provide all training necessary in the trade, safety and equipment use required like scissor lift training, fall protection, etc.
We offer industry top wages including automatic increases based on hours worked and apprenticeship advancement. We encourage apprenticeship training and also have a generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision and extended health. Wages will increase with experience.Duties will include:
Material Handling; reading and interpreting blueprints and other documents; installing insulation and firestopping materials to mechanical systems.
Requirements:
MUST BE RELIABLE.
Minimum Grade 10 Education
No experience in the mechanical insulation trade necessary
Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs
Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds
