Job Description:

Most of the Things You'll Work On:

Field review inspection and related contract administration for municipal infrastructure projects (e.g. sewer, watermain, road, solid waste management, etc.) for public and private clients
Regular site audits to ensure Public Safety
Checking of line and grade
Ensure requirements of contract are complied with (e.g., workmanship, allowable materials, and tolerances)
Field testing and inspection of materials and equipment
Obtaining and recording asconstructed information
Maintaining sufficient data to determine periodic progress of the work
Reviewing Contractor's requests for payment as to progress, quantities of work completed and materials delivered to site
Must be comfortable with site travel

Qualifications:

You'll Need To Have:

Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma
Minimum 35 years' field inspection experience
Successfully completed the MEA / MECP Inspector's Course for the Construction of Sewers and Watermains
Knowledge of standard engineering and construction principles, practices and techniques, plus pertinent codes, regulations and statutes
Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Basic topographical surveying skills
A vehicle and valid Ontario Driver's License 'G' Class

Located on the 2nd floor of 350 Oxford St West, the London Ontario office has 15 full time staff practicing Civil Infrastructure Engineering.

We are steps away from the Oxford bus stop and have a free parking lot in the back of the office or a covered lot below if you drive or ride a bike in.

The London office has summer BBQs and sports tickets to hockey and basketball games. We also like to celebrate birthdays with donuts
