Qualifications:

Ability to communicate orally and in written English is required
Completion of secondary (high) school is required
Accuracy and speed in executing task in fast paced environment and ability to work as a team member is a must.

Experience: 2 -3 years of work experience as a cook in a restaurant is required

Job duties:

Cook's food items by grilling, frying, sautéing and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
Plan menus and determine size of food portions and presentation of food
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Estimate food requirements and costs
Order supplies and equipment
Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Clean and inspect kitchen and work areas
