Estimated Start Date:

• Laying out pipelines according to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions
• Digging trenches or ditches to prepare for pipeline installation
• Assembling and installing various types of pipes, including metal, concrete, and plastic
• Connecting pipes using welding equipment, screws, bolts, or cement
• Caulking joints and wrapping pipes with insulation materials
• Covering pipelines with soil or other materials
• Monitoring testing equipment to ensure that pipelines are functioning properly
• Repairing leaks or breaks in pipelines
• Locating underground utilities before digging
• Adhering to safety standards when working with heavy machinery and hazardous materials
• Ability to work long hours, often in inclement weather

Requirements:

• Education: No formal education required
• Experience: Previous work experience is an asset.

Salary:
Experienced (at least 1 year experience) $42.59 per hour

Inexperienced Pipelayers are as per this schedule:
Apprentice Pipelayers - 60% of $42.59 for the 1st 600 hours

• 75% of $42.59 for hours
• 85% of $42.59 for hours

Vacation rate is 10% of gross earnings.


Schedule:
The position requires flexibility in the schedule.

The employee will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including day, evening, night and weekend hours based on business needs.

Most regular work hours is 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
