Part Time RN in our Operating Room

Position:
Registered Nurse

Surgical Services

Part Time (0.6FTE)


Schedule:
Days/ Evenings [7.5 hr shifts]


Hourly Rate:
$ $54.37 (effective April 1, 2023)

Immediately

Qualifications:


  • Registered Nurse (BScN), Bachelor Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
  • Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Coronary care course and /or critical care course preferred
  • 13 years of recovery room, ICU or ED experience preferred
  • 3 years' experience in acute care preferred
  • Current BCLS, ACLS and N95 mask fit
  • Computer competency (Meditech and order entry)
  • Ability to assume leadership/supervisory and teaching roles
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability in independent and collaborative decision making
  • Critical analysis skills
  • Commitment to continued education related to position
