Old Yale Brewing has a very unique opportunity for a
General Laborer to join the team

The
General Laborer will primarily be responsible for conducting a wide variety of daily tasks such as trade skills, repair work, maintenance work, etc.

between our Chilliwack and Abbotsford locations set out by our Project Lead. This role will require a wide variety of all-trades knowledge, dexterity, and understanding of how to uniquely approach situations with a "can do" attitude

Responsibilities:

Execute daily work instructions received from the Project Lead or Managing Partners as needed.
Performing maintenance and light repairs at various sights
Perform various landscaping tasks
Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
Complete various building projects
Assist with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining highquality standards.
Maintain all pieces of equipment by routinely inspecting machinery, conducting repairs and ordering replacements when necessary.
Travelling to various job locations
Work alongside Project Lead to help identify and report the needs for repairs at locations.

Qualifications:

Familiar with various general labor practices and tools.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, etc.
Stamina and strength to perform manual labor with the ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Work efficiently as a team and be able to work under mínimal supervision.
Able to navigate your way through instructions and carry them out efficiently within a given deadline.
