Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Radiation Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging and radiation therapy, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring safety and accuracy throughout all processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate X‑ray and imaging equipment safely
• Position and prepare patients for accurate imaging
• Use proper radiation safety and protection measures
• Follow radiologist and physician imaging orders
• Maintain equipment and report issues
• Keep accurate patient records and images
• Communicate clearly and help patients feel comfortable
• Work closely with healthcare teams

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Radiation Program
• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) required.
• Membership in the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS).
• Initiative, responsibility and organization required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer skills required.
• Have knowledge of all Radiographic exams, anatomy & physiology, physics and imaging equipment required.
• Experience and ability to image accurately, thoroughly and quickly required.
• Experience working with Radiographic equipment, PACS and computer software required.
• Provide records of continued education and learning.
• Problem-solving, time management and teamwork skills required.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care required.
• Demonstrated reliable attendance and ability/willingness to work various shifts required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
