Position Summary:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for PIV Equipment repair and maintenance.
This is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our (PIV) equipment.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and uptime of our machinery, enabling us to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on PIV equipment according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and implement appropriate solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the PIV equipment.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, repair histories, and equipment performance data.
Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new PIV equipment.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using maintenance management software, documenting maintenance activities, generating reports, and utilizing spreadsheets for data analysis.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, preferably with expertise in maintaining PIV equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
Familiarity with maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements:
Some lifting is required. Willingness to assist in emergency after-hours repairs as needed.
