    Automotive: Leggett & Platt Automotive is a global provider of wire forms, mechanical control cables, wireless charging, seat lumbar, suspension, and motor systems. Our tailored goods and exceptional product development set us apart in understanding consumer needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engineer innovative product solutions and technologies for Core Product Development (CPD).
    • Generate unique design ideas and optimize existing projects.
    • Conduct tolerance and design analysis using GD&T principles and engineering tools.
    • Prototype conceptual designs to assess feasibility.
    • Validate product designs through testing methods.
    • Coordinate design activities to ensure timely completion.
    • Participate in core teams and present engineering deliverables.
    • Maintain accurate technical records to support project deliverables.
    • Ensure products meet design standards and compliance requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent.
    • Up to 3 years of automotive product design experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of product assembly, GD&T, engineering calculations, and analysis.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and present solutions on time.
    • Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
    • Experience in injection molded components and DC motors a plus.
