Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control plant equipment and processes according to standard operating procedures
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Monitor plant performance and take corrective actions to maintain optimal conditions
• Record operational data and maintain accurate logs of equipment performance and process adjustments
• Respond to alarms, investigate abnormal conditions, and implement corrective actions promptly
• Assist with the start-up, shut-down, and routine operation of the plant, ensuring safety and environmental compliance
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and protocols
• Provide input on operational improvements and contribute to process optimization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or training in a related field is preferred
• Experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a similar role
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, compressors, and control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required
