Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals to tailor effective treatment plans.
- Design and implement individualized exercise programs that promote recovery, improve function, and prevent future injuries.
- Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients on proper movement techniques, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure seamless patient support.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with the latest kinesiology research and techniques to continually enhance your practice and deliver innovative care.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Kinesiologist or in a related rehabilitation role with a strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and movement science.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse patient populations.
- Strong assessment skills to accurately identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving within a collaborative healthcare team environment.
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation technologies and exercise equipment is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining meticulous records.
- Certification as a Registered Kinesiologist or equivalent credential is required; ongoing professional development is highly valued.
