- Diagnose and repair truck components,
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
- Repair or replace damaged truck parts and components.
- Keep accurate records of all inspections, repairs and maintenance performed on each trailer.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve complex trailer issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on trailers.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Summary:
Van-Kam Freightways is currently seeking a Red Seal certified Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a trailer mechanic you will be responsible the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation. The shift time for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
